The mask has finally fallen off the faces behind the desperate campaign of lies targeted at the Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo, as new revelations expose the greed, recklessness, and sheer criminal intent powering the attacks. What had long been whispered has now been boldly confirmed through a damning revelation credited to Jimmy Adekanle JAF, CEO Savannah News Corporation Canada, on his social media page. According to his account, one Emorioloye Owolemi allegedly collected 75 Million naira to concoct fake stories, orchestrate smear campaigns, and drag the Minister’s name through the mud. While carrying out his disgraceful assignment, he allegedly rushed to upgrade his lifestyle with a Highlander SUV while sharing a humiliating 70,000 naira to seven members of what JAF described as a fake Asiwaju media group. The pettiness is laughable and the incompetence is even worse. These men thought they could weaponize falsehood and go unchallenged.
The revelation further indicates that even Owolemi’s own coordinator in Ondo East confronted him with proof of extortion and unauthorized collections done in the name of the group. Questions are also emerging around his academic claims, with preliminary checks suggesting he may have dropped out of the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti. These are the characters who presumed they could sit in judgment over a man whose integrity and record of public service stand far above their pay grade. These are the merchants of falsehood who imagined they could undermine a reputation built on verifiable delivery and uncommon efficiency.
In a chat with the National Coordinator of Progressives Network for Tinubu (PNT), Pastor Olumide Obadele said it was no surprise that such individuals and their sponsors have been behind the recent wave of baseless noise. Their motivation is envy. Their fuel is bitterness. Their mission is to attack a man whose rise has been powered by merit, competence, and service, not through propaganda money or political backdoor deals.
He added that from his legislative years, where he broke long-standing political rotations purely through performance, to his current role where he has transformed passport issuance, digitalized the Ministry of Interior, restored order to immigration operations, and renewed public confidence in key institutions, Bunmi Tunji Ojo has built a reputation no crook can drag down. Every attack collapses under the weight of truth. The facts are stronger than their pockets, stronger than their sponsors, and stronger than their conspiracy.
Pastor Olumide said the sponsors of these blackmailers should bow their heads in shame. They raised millions, hired political scavengers, and still failed to manufacture a believable lie. Their messenger has now publicly disgraced them by revealing the greed, internal chaos, and amateurish plotting that define their entire operation. If this is the level of strategy they can muster, then the Minister has absolutely nothing to worry about. His work continues. His impact deepens. Nigerians see the difference every day.
This episode is yet another reminder that competence is undefeatable. Achievements built on service cannot be buried by propaganda. Those who trade in lies will always be consumed by the same lies they peddle. The sponsors of this failed blackmail ring should accept their losses. The Minister, as always, remains focused, steady, and untouched by the theatrics of desperate men with no integrity to stand on.
