Speaking with Media Spotlight on Saturday, PNT Director General Pastor Olumide Obadele said the network’s structures now reach every ward in Ondo State and are yielding unprecedented results. He drew attention to the recent defection of the entire Action Alliance structure in the state to the APC, which he said was facilitated by PNT, describing the development as a clear reflection of growing public confidence in the party and the Renewed Hope Agenda. Pastor Obadele added that this milestone demonstrates citizens’ recognition of leaders who consistently deliver measurable outcomes.
According to him, residents of Ondo are responding positively to President Tinubu’s stabilizing and results-driven leadership. He explained that national reforms in infrastructure, the economy, security, passport issuance, identity management, and social interventions such as student loans have restored public trust and generated tangible momentum. He added that citizens naturally gravitate towards a government that translates policy into practical benefits and demonstrates consistent accountability.
Pastor Obadele also drew attention to key infrastructure initiatives, including the ongoing dualization of the Akure-Ado Road and the Akure-Ore Road, noting that these projects are expected to significantly improve commerce, enhance mobility, and strengthen connectivity across the state once completed.
He emphasized that at the core of the APC’s expanding influence in Ondo is Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. Pastor Obadele described BTO as a strategic asset to the state and a vital driver of the Renewed Hope Agenda. According to him, BTO has consistently earned the trust of citizens through verifiable initiatives that directly transform lives. As Minister of Interior and former representative of Akoko North East and Akoko North West Federal Constituency, BTO’s work in education, empowerment programs for traders and artisans, provision of ICT tools for students, and employment facilitation schemes have positively impacted thousands. Pastor Obadele noted that this sustained record of delivery has cemented BTO’s role in building public confidence in government and reinforcing faith in the Renewed Hope project.
He further explained that BTO’s tenure as Minister of Interior has strengthened his credibility across the nation. Pastor Obadele cited the historic clearing of passport backlogs, the modernization of immigration services, and the enhancement of correctional institutions as clear examples of leadership that produces tangible results.
The DG highlighted BTO’s approval of Technology Hubs and Research Centers across all Local Government Areas, known as the BTO Industrial Hub and Research Center, as a forward-looking initiative. According to him, these centers will equip youths with advanced digital skills, foster innovation, and position Ondo State competitively in the modern economy. He added that the initiative is inclusive, accessible to all young people without political bias, and fully aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda’s mission to empower the next generation.
Pastor Obadele concluded that the combined impact of President Tinubu’s national reforms, BTO’s verifiable contributions, ongoing infrastructure projects, and PNT’s grassroots engagement has created a strong sense of unity and direction in Ondo State. He observed that citizens increasingly value performance over promises, reinforcing PNT’s confidence that Ondo will deliver a decisive and overwhelming mandate for the APC and President Tinubu in 2027.
He affirmed that PNT will continue to expand its grassroots mobilization, strengthen local structures, and engage communities across Ondo, ensuring that residents remain fully aligned with the progress being championed under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
