Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade, CEO of TEF Foundation, has appealed to Muslim faithful in Akure North and South, Ondo State, and across Nigeria to promote peace, unity, and love as the holy month of Ramadan continues.
In a statement from her office in Abuja, Hon. Falade emphasized the importance of communal bonding, self-reflection, and spiritual rejuvenation during Ramadan.
She urged Muslims to remember the core values of the holy month, including peace, unity, and love, and to put aside their differences to promote harmony and understanding. She also encouraged Muslims to uphold righteous living during the fasting and prayer period and to pursue peace with everybody.
Through her media group, Hon. Falade reminded the Muslim faithful that their actions have consequences and that choosing love and compassion can create a ripple effect of kindness.
The statement reads in part: "As we observe this sacred month of Ramadan, I urge all Muslim faithful to embrace peace, unity, and love. Let us put aside our differences, extend kindness to one another, and pray for the peace and stability of our nation."
Furthermore, she called on Muslims to pray for an end to insecurity, which has plagued the nation.
She expressed hope that their collective prayers would bring about peace and stability, allowing Nigerians to live without fear or anxiety.
