The Leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oorun I Ward of Akoko North East Local Government has officially announced the suspension of their Ward Woman Leader, Ipinloju Kudirat, due to her involvement in activities contrary to party interests.
Investigations revealed that Kudirat accepted money from PDP Gubernatorial Aspirant Alfred Agboola Ajayi to support his campaign in the upcoming November 16th Governorship Election, a charge she admitted to.
As stated in a letter signed by the party's Chairman and Secretary, a disciplinary action based on Article 21, Section B, Subsection I – IV of the APC Constitution was therefore invoked. As a result, Kudirat is prohibited from any future party activities, and the public is advised against engaging in any party-related interactions with her.
The letter reads in part:
Based on the information gathered, the PDP Gubernatorial Aspirant – Alfred Agboola
Ajayi has given them some amount of money to work for him in the forthcoming
November 16th Governorship Election.
After the findings, she was summoned by the Executive and Leaders for the
principle of fair hearing, where one Ipinloju Kudirat – Woman Leader Oorun Ward
one was invited for cross-examination, where she admitted that she was guilty of
allegations levied against her and confirmed she is now working for PDP Governorship
Candidate.
Relying on the findings and discovered it was nothing but total truth, the
Oorun I Executive and Leaders were left with no option than to apply the stipulation
of Article 21, Section B, Subsection I – IV of the APC Constitution (October 2014 as
amended).
Henceforth, she is not allowed to take part in any party activities anymore and general
public should not transact any party activities whatsoever with her again.
