In a letter dated 25th July, 2024 and signed by the Ward Chairman and Ward Secretary, the party cited Article 21, Section B, Subsection I - IV of the APC constitution, concluding that the actions of Abiola and Lukman constituted severe breaches of party loyalty and integrity. Consequently, both individuals have been prohibited from participating in any future party activities.
The letter reads in part: "Sequel to the information received and after thorough investigation and findings of anti-party activities involving ward women leader and ward financial secretary – Adebisi Kudirat Abiola and Olatona Lukman respectively.
"Based on the information gathered, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Alfred Agboola Ajayi, has given them some amount of money to work for him in the forthcoming November 16th governorship election.
"Relying on the findings and discovery, it was nothing but total truth, the Oorun II executives and leaders were left with no other option than to apply the stipulation of Article 21, Section B, Subsection i-iv of the APC constitution.
"Henceforth, these people are not allowed to take part in any party activities anymore, and the general public should not transact any party activities whatsoever with them again."
