On behalf of the entire family of the Progressives Network for Tinubu (PNT), I heartily congratulate the revered Leader of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, on the glorious occasion of his 100th birthday anniversary.
To attain a century of life is extraordinary; to do so with honour untarnished, integrity intact, and a legacy unblemished is truly historic. Baba Fasoranti stands today not merely as a centenarian, but as a towering symbol of principled leadership, Yoruba resilience, patriotism, and moral courage.
At a defining moment in the history of Afenifere — when the house was divided, the nation uncertain, and the ideals of progressive Yoruba politics confronted with daunting trials — Baba accepted the heavy mantle of leadership with uncommon wisdom, calmness, and unwavering conviction. He became the steady hand that held the centre together when many faltered.
Through personal pain, political turbulence, and seasons that tested the convictions of even the strongest men, Baba remained steadfast, dignified, and incorruptible. His life has become a compass for generations seeking truth, justice, and selfless service.
As Baba joins the exclusive league of centenarians today, my family and I pray that Almighty God continues to preserve him in divine health, sound mind, enduring peace, and abundant grace for many more fruitful years.
Nigeria is richer because of men like Pa Fasoranti. Yoruba land is prouder because of his sacrifices. History will forever remember his courage and his contributions.
