Speaking to newsmen, the coordinator of the exercise who also doubles as the Director General of Progressives Network for Tinubu (PNT); a foremost Pro-Tinubu support group, Pastor Olumide Ovbadele confirmed the arrival of the item in Ondo State and promise that the exercise would commence in a matter of days.
“Again, in the spirit of Lenten season, I have the instruction of the Honorable Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr.) Bunmi Tunji – Ojo to supervise the distribution of food items to church leaders and monitor across the 18LG of Ondo State. I can confirm to you the arrival of gthe items here in Ondo State. The exercise will be done in collaboration with the Christian bodies in the state and we are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that we accommodate all interest. I have engaged some Christian leaders already and will be done with engagement in another two days, after with distribution will commence; Pastor Olumide Obadele said.
He eulogized the Minister of Interior for being magnanimous and for his humanitarian gesture to the people of Ondo State at all times.
“On behalf of the Christian Community in Ondo State, I want to sincere appreciate the Honorable Minister for being magnanimous always. This gesture is unequalled and unprecedented. Just last December he reached out to the entire state with 28 tailer loads of rice, now he’s reaching out again to the Christian community having recently reached out to the Muslim community in the spirit of Ramadan. I deeply appreciate him; Obadele said again
He assured that he would discharge this responsibly as strictly instructed by his boss, the Honorable Minister and as guided by Christian leaders and bodies.
