BTO4PBAT27 Deepens Grassroots Structure with Phase II Ward Tour Across Ondo State

The BTO4PBAT27 support group has intensified its grassroots mobilisation efforts with the commencement of Phase II of its statewide Ward Tour across Ondo State, in what observers describe as a strategic move to consolidate structures and deepen political engagement at the ward level.

The development follows what the group characterised as a successful Phase I exercise, which recorded significant participation from party leaders, ward executives, youth coordinators, women groups, and critical stakeholders in several Local Government Areas. The leadership noted that the momentum generated in the first phase necessitated an expanded second phase aimed at strengthening coordination, reinforcing unity, and widening the support base of the movement.

BTO4PBAT27 has emerged as one of the prominent support groups mobilising backing for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, consistently citing what it describes as transformative reforms and bold policy decisions under his administration. The group maintains that sustained grassroots engagement remains central to building public understanding and long term political consolidation.

In a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga, and obtained by The Spotlight, the group explained that Phase II is designed to further entrench its grassroots network while sustaining alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu. According to the statement, effective political organisation must begin from the ward level, describing the ward as the engine room of mobilisation, policy communication, and electoral success.

The Ward Tour is scheduled to begin on Friday, February 27, 2026, with engagements in Akoko South East Local Government at 10:00am and Akoko South West Local Government at 1:00pm. Activities will continue on Saturday, February 28, with visits to Ifedore Local Government at 10:00am and Akure North Local Government at 1:00pm. On Sunday, March 1, the team will be in Akure South Local Government at 2:00pm.

The tour resumes on Tuesday, March 3, with Odigbo Local Government at 10:00am and Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government at 1:00pm. Ose Local Government is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, at 1:00pm, while the grand finale of Phase II will take place in Akoko North West Local Government on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00am. The group also confirmed that Ilaje Local Government and a second engagement in Idanre Local Government will be scheduled at later dates.

The leadership of BTO4PBAT27 expressed appreciation for the overwhelming turnout and unity recorded during Phase I and called on party leaders, coordinators, ward executives, stakeholders, and supporters across the listed Local Government Areas to mobilise massively and participate actively in the engagements. Political observers believe the second phase of the Ward Tour is expected to further consolidate grassroots momentum in Ondo State and reinforce the support base of the Renewed Hope Agenda within the state’s political landscape.
