It was a moment of recognition and celebration in Akure yesterday as Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade, Chief Executive Officer of TEF Foundation and a leading aspirant for the Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency seat, received a prestigious Community Service Award from the Akure South Youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The award, presented during a well-attended ceremony, was conferred on her in acknowledgment of her outstanding contributions to youth empowerment, community development, and humanitarian service. This recognition is one of several awards she has received in recent times, underscoring her growing reputation as a compassionate philanthropist and advocate of community development.

“I honestly don’t know what I have done to deserve this recognition, but whatever it is, I promise to continue doing it in service of my community. This award is not the end but a reminder that the work must continue. I will keep listening to my people, standing with them, and working tirelessly so that together, we can build a better Akure and a stronger Ondo State,” she said.
She further urged the youth to remain active participants in shaping the future of their communities by supporting leaders who genuinely understand their needs. In her remarks, she also called on young people to remain steadfast in supporting the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa and to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the collective pursuit of stability and progress across Nigeria.
