The Executive Chairman of Akoko North East Local Government (ANELG), Hon. Mohammed Mutiu Olawale, has extended warm congratulations to the people of Ikare Akoko and the entire Akoko North East Local Government Area on the successful passage of the bill establishing the Federal University of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), Ikare Akoko, by the National Assembly.
Hon. Olawale also expressed his profound appreciation to the Distinguished Senator Olajide Ipinsagba Emmanuel, whose visionary leadership and unwavering commitment were instrumental in sponsoring and facilitating the passage of the bill. He lauded the senator’s dedication to sustainable development and the advancement of his constituency.
In a message he personally signed, The Chaiman described the development as a transformative milestone, noting that the approval marks a turning point in the region’s educational and socio-economic landscape. He emphasized that the university, once established, will significantly expand opportunities for learning, innovation, and economic empowerment, not only in Ikare Akoko but across Ondo State.
