Akoko Youth Group Declares Support for Senator Jide Ipinshagba, Dismisses Call for Protest

The Akoko Youth Intellectual Movement (AYIM) has reaffirmed its support for Senator Pastor Jide Ipinshagba of Ondo North Senatorial District, disassociating itself from a recent protest call by a group claiming to represent the region.

In a public statement, AYIM commended the senator’s developmental efforts, particularly the establishment of the University of Information and Technology in Ikare Akoko, describing it as a major boost to youth empowerment and educational advancement.

The group urged the public to reject any misleading narratives and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace and progress in the district.

To the esteemed public,

As a concerned citizen of Ondo North Senatorial District, we are compelled to express our unequivocal support for Senator Pastor Jide Ipinshagba. Recently, a call for mass protest was announced by a group claiming to represent the interests of our district. However, we want to make it abundantly clear that the Akoko Youth Intellectual Movement does not endorse or support this protest in any manner.

We recognize and appreciate Senator Pastor Jide Ipinshagba's tireless efforts in championing the development of our district. 

The establishment of the University of Information and Technology in Ikare Akoko is a shining example of his commitment to enhancing the educational landscape and opportunities for our youth. His dedication to the growth and progress of our district is truly commendable.

In light of these efforts, we urge the public to reject any attempts to mislead our youth and undermine the senator's initiatives. The Akoko Youth Intellectual Movement stands firmly in support of Senator Pastor Jide Ipinshagba and his endeavors to drive development and progress in Ondo North Senatorial District.
