In a message he personally signed, Honourable Jackson Olatunji, the leader of the reconciliation effort, expressed the party’s dedication to addressing the ongoing challenges. His message reads:

A pivotal moment is unfolding for the dedicated members of the APC in Akoko North West. Recent developments have presented challenges between our esteemed leaders and party members. However, we are addressing these matters with a strong sense of purpose and commitment.
The Yoruba proverb, Agbà ki nwà lójà , kà órà ómò titún wó, highlights the significance of mutual respect and unity within our party. In this spirit, our elders have wisely appointed Honourable Jackson Olatunji to lead the reconciliation committee. Under his leadership, we are committed to fostering harmony within our ranks and reinforcing a united and resilient party as we advance.
Honourable Jackson Olatunji, a former legislative aide at the National Assembly, is a distinguished leader and a respected grassroots politician from Akoko North West Local Government Area in Ondo State. The wards recognize the importance of fostering inclusivity within the All Progressives Congress (APC); he has engaged in constructive dialogue with Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, to address the ongoing challenges.
In an admirable effort to promote reconciliation, Honourable Olatunji has initiated meetings with aggrieved party members across various wards. This proactive engagement has greatly contributed to the development and cohesion of our party.
