Honorable Oluwatoyin Victor Japhet representing Akoko North East Constituency at the Ondo State House of Assembly who doubles as Deputy Chief Whip and Chairman House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs actively campaigned for Hon Olawale Mutiu, the APC Chairmanship Candidate in Akoko Northeast Local Government, urging the constituents to cast their votes for him in the 18th January 2025 forthcoming Local Government election. Hon. Japhet emphasized the importance of Local Government (LG) autonomy, assuring the people that it will bring relief to those at the grassroots.
He said It's worth noting that Olawale Mutiu has already demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of the people, having implemented various projects that benefited the communities within the Local Government , such as the deployment of good governance when he was Akoko Northeast Transition Committee Chairman. With LG autonomy, the local government will experience more developmental projects and good governance to better address the needs of the people of the local government.
The APC party has been mobilizing support for its candidates, most importantly Olawale Mutiu and the Councillorship candidates, with events such as the presentation of party flags by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. The party has also been holding meetings to strategize and rally support for her candidates
The meeting was well attended by all APC members of APC stakeholder's committee in Akoko North East.
