The Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Union Matters, Hon. Olubunmi Olawoye, has thanked Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his support in ensuring the peaceful and successful conduct of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) executive election in Ondo State.
In a letter he personally signed and made available to THE SPOTLIGHT, Hon. Olawoye commended the Governor’s commitment to fostering peace and inclusivity among residents, as well as his leadership in ensuring a credible and orderly electoral process. He highlighted Governor Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to key areas like infrastructure, education, youth development, and security.
While congratulating the newly elected MACBAN executives, Hon. Olawoye urged them to align with the Governor’s vision for peace and development, pledging their full cooperation with the Ondo State Government.
His letter reads:
LETTER OF APPRECIATION TO HIS EXCELLENCY, HON. LUCKY ORIMISAN AIYEDATIWA, FOR HIS SUPPORT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CONDUCT OF THE MIYETTI ALLAH CATTLE BREEDERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (MACBAN) EXECUTIVE ELECTION IN ONDO STATE
On behalf of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Ondo State, the national leadership of MACBAN under the stewardship of Alh. Baba Usman Ngelzarma and my humble office, I write to earnestly appreciate our amiable leader, Gov. Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, for his unwavering support and concern in ensuring a peaceful process for electing the MACBAN leadership in Ondo State.
In His Excellency's commitment to maintaining peace across all strata of Ondo State, including among indigenes and non-indigenes, Mr. Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa directed my office, with full support, to oversee the peaceful conduct of this election.
As a visionary leader who understands the critical importance of MACBAN to the state’s economy and security, Mr. Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa left no stone unturned in ensuring peace and orderliness during the electoral process.
We also earnestly appreciate our progressive Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his giant strides in delivering democratic dividends to the people and residents of Ondo State in areas such as infrastructural development, education, welfare for civil servants, youth empowerment, security, and other critical sectors of the state economy.
Although the election process was tough and rigorous, it successfully produced Alh. Alli Abubakar Maunde as the new chairman of MACBAN, tasked with superintending the association's affairs in Ondo State. We also wish to extend our appreciation to the national President, Alh. Baba Usman Ngelzarma, and the national Secretary, Alh. Aliyu Gotomo, for providing a level playing field and ensuring fairness to all parties involved, in adherence to Mr. Governor’s directive for a credible electoral process.
While we congratulate the newly elected leaders of MACBAN in Ondo State, it is our hope that the new Executive will align with the vision of the State Governor, His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, by maintaining security and ensuring that no intruder infiltrates their ranks. We trust that under the leadership of Alh. Alli Abubakar Maunde, the new team will run a crisis-free administration and extend full cooperation to the state government.
