The Deputy Chief Whip of the Ondo State House of Assembly and representative of Akoko North East Constituency, Honorable Oluwatoyin Victor Japhet, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his recent electoral victory.
The governor, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after securing an impressive 366,781 votes. He decisively defeated his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered 117,845 votes.
In a statement personally signed by Hon. Japhet and made available to THE SPOTLIGHT by Hon Akinrinbola Ebenezer Adeniyi, his Special Assistant on New Media/Strategy, Hon. Japhet commended the governor’s unwavering dedication and visionary leadership. He noted that the resounding victory reflects the trust Ondo State citizens have in Governor Aiyedatiwa's capacity to drive positive transformation.
Hon. Japhet expressed optimism about the governor's ability to lead the state into an era of greater progress and prosperity.
