HON. MOHAMMED MUTIU OLAWALE ATTENDS 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF NASRDA

Hon. Mohammed Mutiu Olawale, Chairman of the Transition Committee for Akoko North East, attended the 25th anniversary celebration of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Asokoro, Abuja. The event, inaugurated by President Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, featured discussions on the development of space technology in Nigeria.

According to a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Agun Abiola, and made available to The Spotlight, Hon. Olawale sought collaboration with top government officials to advance technological development in Akoko North East.

HON. MOHAMMED MUTIU OLAWALE ATTENDS 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF NASRDA 

Yesterday, Hon. Mohammed Mutiu Olawale Chairman transition committee Akoko north east attended the 25th anniversary celebration of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) at the Banquet Hall Presidential Villa Asokoro  Abuja. The event was declared open by President Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and was attended by current and past government officials.

Hon.Mohammed Mutiu Olawale sought collaboration with top government officials on technological development in Akoko North East. The event provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss the development of space technology in Nigeria.

Other notable attendees included DG NASRDA,former presidents, Former Ministers,Hon.Minister of Interior,Hon.Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister for Youth Development, Hon. Ayomide Wisdom.and Prof Ajayi Robert Boroffice Pioneer Director general NASRDA.

The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) is the national space agency of Nigeria, established in 1999. The agency is responsible for the development of space science and technology in Nigeria.

NASRDA has launched several satellites, including NigeriaSat-1, NigeriaSat-2, and NigeriaSat-X . The agency has also established several centers and laboratories across the country, including the Center for Basic Space Science and the Center for Satellite Technology Development.
